I lost about 5 pounds right after I started the program, and have been stuck there. But that’s ok! Because the arthritis in my hand (bone on bone in the thumb/basal joint) is so much better!! My orthopedist recommended surgery and I actually changed jobs due to the swelling and pain. I was an oncology infusion nurse so my hands were needed all day every day. The swelling is gone and unless I actually press on the joint, the pain is gone too.
